The International and Pacific Coast Leagues today announced their respective field staffs for the 2008 Triple-A All-Star Game. Each League's reigning Manager of the Year will guide the All-Stars into battle at Louisville Slugger Field on Wednesday, July 16 at 7:05 p.m.

The IL squad will be managed by Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's Dave Miley, a fan favorite in Louisville where he owns the Bats franchise record for victories (296) and games managed (541). Miley led the Bats to the 2001 Governors' Cup championship, and the following year he managed the IL All-Stars at the 2002 Triple-A All-Star Game in Oklahoma City.

Miley also served as a coach for the IL at the 1998 Triple-A Game in Norfolk while he was manager of the Indianapolis Indians. The former Cincinnati Reds skipper was the 2007 International League Manager of the Year after guiding the Yankees to an IL-best 84-59 record.

Miley will be joined on the IL bench by Syracuse manager Doug Davis, serving as a coach. Davis has guided the Chiefs to an impressive 40-31 record so far in his second season at the helm. Davis is a former Sporting News Minor League Manager of the Year (1998, Columbia, South Atlantic League).

The other coach on the IL staff will be Louisville's own Rick Sweet, who is in his fourth season piloting the Bats. Sweet is no stranger to the Triple-A All-Star Game, having previously managed the National League Affiliates squad in 1994 while with Tucson and the Pacific Coast League squad in 2003 while with Portland. Sweet's Bats are tied for the IL West Division lead this year with a 42-31 record.

The trainer for the International League team will be Louisville's Chris Lapole. Lapole is also in his fourth season with the Bats, and his 10th in the Cincinnati organization.

The Pacific Coast League All-Stars will be led by Nashville's Frank Kremblas, the 2007 PCL Manager of the Year. Kremblas guided the 2007 Sounds to a League-best 89-55 mark and the club's third division title in his first three years at the helm. Kremblas piloted the 2005 Sounds to the PCL championship.

Before beginning his Triple-A career, Kremblas managed the West Division All-Stars in the 2004 Southern League All-Star Game (Double-A), one year after winning the circuit's Manager of the Year Award.

Omaha hitting coach Terry Bradshaw will serve that role for the PCL All-Stars. The former Omaha outfielder is now in his fifth season as an O-Royals coach. During his playing days Bradshaw was named to the Florida State League and Texas League All-Star Teams, but this will be his first time participating in the Triple-A All-Star Game.

Joining Kremblas and Bradshaw on the PCL Field Staff is Sacramento's Rick Rodriguez. Rodriguez has served as pitching coach in seven of the first eight seasons of River Cats baseball. Last year his staff compiled the PCL's 2nd-best strikeout total and 3rd-best ERA as the club stormed to the Triple-A Championship.

The PCL trainer is Nashville's Jeff Paxson This is Paxson's sixth consecutive year as Milwaukee's Triple-A trainer, and his 15th year overall in the Brewers system.
